Extension Protection Valve
The extension protection valve prevents the damping piston from extending unintentionally due to residual pressure or exhaust air pressure in the vent line.
Technical data
Function

The operating principle is based on two check valves installed in opposite directions.
The check valve for extending the stop of the corner damper has a defined opening pressure of 1.2 bar. This prevents the low-friction corner damper from extending unintentionally due to a small amount of residual pressure in the compressed air line.
The check valve for venting the corner damper during the damping process or when retracting the stop, on the other hand, has a very low opening pressure to ensure virtually unrestricted venting.
Installation and connection
M5 female threads are provided on both sides for the installation of compressed air fittings.
The connecting line between the corner damper and the ASSV must be kept as short as possible.
