The decision is up to the user: higher masses can be transported at the same speed or higher speeds can be achieved with the same mass. The optimized damping system of the ASMHS* series therefore more than meets the requirements of fast, flexible production.
Damping modules are used to dampen the impact of incoming workpiece carriers without vibration right up to the end position. They guarantee optimum position stability of the workpieces. The stop remains in the end position without counterforce, resulting in very precise positioning without additional indexing. The pneumatic damping can be infinitely adjusted to the workpiece pallet weight.
Fastening options for proximity switches are available for inductive monitoring of whether a workpiece pallet is in contact with the stopper or has passed it.
